For the whole of the wasps season We will be removing wasps nests throughout Trafford and Manchester for a fixed rate of £32.00 (£44.50 in postcodes (CH, CW & L).
We are available seven days per week including weekends and evenings and do not charge an extra for evening and weekend wasp nest work.
Wasps nests can normally be dealt with from the exterior of the building by injecting a small quantity of wasp powder into the opening using a special machine.
It is necessary to get a wasps’ nest removed before mid-september when the new queens which will make next season’s nests start to be produced. Once this commences simply destoying the nest will not deal with these new queens as they are no longer returning to the nest. A single nest can release about 2000 queens.
For the whole of the summer we give priority to wasps’ nest calls as we know that many people suffer badly from wasps stings and it is important to destroy the nest as soon as it is discovered. We do our best to provide a same day service but this is obviously governed by how much work we have on.
It is neither necessary nor desirable to remove the wasp nest itself as it cannot be used again and, being built from purely of a paper like material it will crumble away by itself.
